Computer Software Programmer/Analyst

We are looking for a full-time Computer Software Programming/Analyst in the Rapid City, South Dakota area.  Normal week day schedules of 40 hours a week are available.  Some short Saturday’s may be included but very flexible. 

As a Computer Software Programmer/Analyst you will be part of our Finance Forms Development where you will be responsible for programming all F&I forms into Dealership Tracker, as well as being responsible for maintaining existing forms and building forms programming fixes.  You will also be available to assist our help desk team to support our customers to the highest degree.

What Does This Job Actually Do?

  • Updating our system, The Dealership Tracker, with additional functions, reports and forms

  • Supplying thoughtful, timely and accurate answers to customer questions via telephone support

  • Continually learning new features and functions of The Dealership Tracker to improve product and dealership business environment knowledge

  • Representing Supreme Software, its services, and employees in a professional and courteous manner to customers and co-employees

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Proven skills in MS Access and Visual Basic with a natural affinity for computer technology

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Previous experience providing IT support is an asset

  • Positive and confident attitude

  • Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast paced environment

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Automotive dealership experience in the Finance environment is a huge asset

  • Ability to learn quickly and maintain excellent working relationships with customers and staff

  • Post secondary education in related field

  • Knowledge of basic programming principles

  • Exceptional organizational skills

  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work against deadlines

  • Proven ability to work in a fast paced, challenging environment

  • Highly effective customer service skills

  • Professional telephone etiquette, verbal and written communication skills

  • Enjoy problem solving and able to work with little or no direct daily supervision

  • Experience in a similar or related role is an asset

  • Experience using the Visual Studio products, .NET, VB and/or SQL for future development is an asset

Support Help Desk Technician

We are looking for a full-time Support Help Desk Technician (Installation/Support Representative) for Supreme Software in Rapid City, South Dakota.  Normal week day schedules of 40 hours a week are available.  Some short Saturday’s may be included but very flexible. 

As a Supreme Software Representative in this capacity, you would be responsible for installing the Supreme Software F&I software application, and then training the customers on how to properly use the System. You would also be expected to support customers via phone calls for any existing Supreme Software customers.

What Does This Job Actually Do?

  • Supplying thoughtful, timely and accurate answers to customer questions via telephone support

  • If unable to completely answer any customer inquiry, have the ability to clearly communicate the issue to a higher level of support for resolution

  • Continually learning new features and functions of The Dealership Tracker to improve product and dealership business environment knowledge

  • Installation and setup of The Dealership Tracker and all related software and hardware setups

  • Training dealership staff on the proper use of The Dealership Tracker for their business operations

  • Following-up with customer inquiries and staying in touch with customers about their outstanding issues

  • Representing Supreme Software, its services, and employees in a professional and courteous manner to customers and co-employees

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Basic computer skills - especially with PC's and printers in the Windows environment

  • Superb communication and telephone skills

  • Completion of some post-secondary courses preferred

  • MS Office experience especially MS Access

  • Knowledge of Windows networking helpful

  • Great problem solving skills

  • Works well with little or no direct supervision

  • Great people skills

  • Must be detail-oriented and well organized

  • Basic financial concepts and/or auto dealership F&I experience would be an asset
